Hi, I’m Danny Byram.

I am an author, speaker, musician, singer/songwriter, worship leader, and event producer.  I have spent three decades producing some of the largest Christian events in recent history (Promise Keepers, FamilyLife Arena Events) and ministering to our US military communities at home and overseas since 1987.

So, how about you?

Are you a worshiper who is so frustrated you purposefully arrive late for services or have given up entirely?

Are you a worship leader who tries earnestly to lead worshippers each week but feels disconnected from them?

Have you thought:   “There has to be more to this ‘worship thingthan what we are experiencing?”

What is missing from your worship experience?

I get it.

If you are feeling there is a gap between the platform and the people, I want you to know: There are simple solutions to closing that gap.

What do you want out of worship?

As a leader, your desire is to see people follow you into a special place of meaning and spiritual connection, no matter the style, size of church or culture in which you are leading.

As a worshiper, your desire is to simply be led into a participatory experience of worship, whether through music or the spoken word.

The challenge, in our world of passive observation, is to remain centered in a biblical model of worship opposed to a changing cultural model.  What works well in an 18,000 seat arena, may not translate to a 300 seat church setting.  I know.  I’ve led and performed in both.

Let me help…

My mission is to “help leaders lead worshipers.” I want to walk with you through your journey.  If you are experiencing the gap between the platform and the people, my workshop can help you build the bridge.  Whether you lead or follow, let’s rediscover worship that is real, truthful and liberating, no matter whether it is contemporary, traditional or liturgical.

Something is coming…

Wallpaper Worship is the religious equivalent to wallpaper music in a store or a dentist’s office.  It’s great music but it is not designed for participation, but to be simply listened to or observed as it is performed.  Throughout history, the church has experienced cycles of Wallpaper Worship.

Wallpaper Worship thrives in times of prosperity and dies in times of persecution.  Something always breaks the cycle… Something from outside the church will begin…a movement.  Change is coming because the Bride of Christ is realizing she no longer has to tolerate Wallpaper Worship.

When the Bride is frustrated, the Bridegroom pays attention.

Come join the movement!

If you resonate with this message and mission, come join the movement of worshipers who will no longer tolerate Wallpaper Worship; worshipers who understand worship is inclusive, participatory and together.  Jesus said, “…the Father is seeking such worshipers to worship Him.” (John 4:23).  Head over to my BLOG and get in on the conversation. Help us hear and see from your perspective.  Let’s make the journey together!
